Friends of San Diego River Mouth is a team of volunteers that are dedicated to restoring and protecting wetland and upland habitats where the San Diego River meets the Pacific. Volunteers work to maintain trails, remove non-native invasive plants and trash, and plant native species.

Directions: Take I-8 West to Sunset Cliffs Blvd. Follow Sunset Cliffs to West Point Loma Blvd. Turn west and bear right at Voltaire Street into the public parking lot for Dog Beach. Look for the "Friends" sign in the grassy area at the east end of the parking lot.

*Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty!
*Work gloves, tools, and snacks are provided
